Jackie is an avid Rugby League fan and Wests Tigers fanatic.
Tracey Lycho
Vet nurse
With us since: 2008
Qualifications:
Animal Studies Certificate II, Veterinary Nursing Certificate IV, currently completing BMarine Science in Marine Biology and Geophysics.
Tracey has become our wonderful Puppy Preschool trainer after finishing her veterinary nursing studies in 2009. On top of nursing, she has returned to university to compete a degree in Marine Science and Geophysics. Having a rather soft spot for our feline friends she has helped to re-home many of the clinics strays and couldn't resist adopting two gorgeous stray kitties of her own, Tessa and Batman (who has been a loyal blood donor of the clinic!). Her newest animal companions include two cheeky budgies, Pikachu and Squirtle.
Darlene Clancy
Kennel hand/Vet nurse
With us since: 2002
Qualifications: Animal Studies Certificate II, Vet Nurse Certificate IV
Darlane, a valuable member of the team, has been working at the hospital for eight years. She is the proud owner of a staffy, Darcy, and cats Tiny and Babe all of whom she rescued from the practice.
Alicia Liston
Trainee vet nurse
With us since: 2009
Qualifications: Currently studying for the Animal Studies Certificate II
Vet nurse in-training Alicia has had a love for animals for as long as she can remember. She adopted her adorable cat, Pumba, after he was abandoned at our practice, and raised him into the happy, well-adjusted feline he is today.
Sarah Jobbins
Vet nurse
With us since: 2009
Qualifications: Bachelor of Animal Science (Hons I), currently completing PhD in Veterinary Science.
On the verge of completing a PhD in Veterinary Science, studying the immune system of the koala, Sarah returned to vet nursing after a 2 year break as she dearly missed working with the animals. Annandale is the second clinic Sarah has nursed in.
In addition to her own brood of cats and reptiles, Sarah has fostered several of our kittens and prepared them for adoption. With an innate passion for both wildlife and companion animals, especially cats, Sarah hopes to work in conservation and help remove the Tiger from endangered species list.
